About the Encompass® SDK Transition Center

The Encompass® SDK Transition Center is a dedicated resource from Mortgage Workflow Partners (MWP) built to help lenders navigate the retirement of the legacy ICE Encompass® Software Development Kit. ICE Mortgage Technology has announced that the Encompass SDK reaches end of life on December 31, 2026. After that date the legacy desktop and server SDK components will no longer be supported, and lenders must move to a modern, API-first architecture built on the Encompass Platform Services available through the Encompass Developer Portal.

Who it is for. This resource is written for lender IT and operations teams, Encompass administrators, third-party LOS integration partners, and plugin developers who currently rely on Encompass SDK components — including loan plugins, custom input forms, and event-driven integrations. If your workflows or custom code touch the SDK today, the 2026 sunset affects you, and the time to plan your migration is now.
